Jaxon's 8th B-day Party

Jaxon had his 8th birthday party last weekend and it was AWESOME! We met at our home and he was allowed to invite 4 kids. After gifts and cake we recieved a phone call from Indiana Jones (Uncle Chad) telling the boys he needed their help NOW. We all hurried and got in the cars and drove out to my Grandma Johnson's Home. Indiana Jones was waiting there for them to help him on his adventure to find the hidden treasure.

First, they had to practice the ancient ritual of the mummy. The "ladies"(what Indiana Jones called them) were not very good at it but they tried. They all piled in Jone's jeep down the field. Then they continued on to the next task to disguised thenselves as Indiana Jones in order to fool the enemy. And it worked!

The boys began to earn Jone's respect so he let them continue to help him. The next stop was the snake pit where they all had to drink deadly snake venom(spicy V8) but all had to survive.

They were good sports cause it was pretty nasty. Brave boys! Back in the jeep again to ward off evil spirits by shooting them with blow darts. It was successful and the kids enjoyed that stop better. After four-wheelen' through the creeks and trees, they came upon the Pit of Death and Dispair where they had to cross over it on a monkey bridge. It was kinda tense but each boy passed it without fear. The last task was to finally find the treasure hidden in the back of woods in a hallowed out tree. It took them awhile but by working together they were able to find it. It was a beautiful day for it and it went so smoothly. I planned it the day before and I am thankful it went so well and no one was hurt or even scared.

Scary huh? Chad assured me it was safe and I trusted him. He does this all the time. This was baby stuff but when I went on a ride to preview it I was a little scared but all boys loved it!

Next year I will be doing a family party because it's an even year so now I have 2 years to plan the next adventure, instead of 24 hours. My ideas just come last minute and that can be annoying but at least they come!
I should have probally had parent release waivers.
Oh well.

Party's over. Sorry guys...I mean MEN.

And baby makes four!

So, I'm attempting my first blog post and I figured I would go big, right? Here it goes. We were telling people we are done having children BUT we lied. A month ago, Brian and I both had the impression we should have another baby, so a month later, here we are. Brian was hoping we could of tried longer, but we are fast. So I was out with Betsy and she had brought me her extra pregnancy test but it was driving her crazy that I hadn't taken it yet(we were in the car for 15 min. by the way)so she forced me into Bed Bath & Beyond and that is where I learned I was pregnant. We did our happy dance in the bathroom. it was sweet. Then we ran over to Old Navy and took pics to send to Brian and My mom, and Andrew and Chad and Tanya and Katie. It's not a secret...Obviously! I was too excited! So then I had a movie to return at Redbox/McDonalds and I saw Sarah Budges car in the parking lot so I looped back around and held up my EPT stick to the whole play area but Sarah happened to be right at the window so it worked out perfect. Anyway, I'm feeling good still but I think I felt a little yucky this morning. It hard when you know you are pregnant and you are waiting for all the wonderful side effects that go along with it. Hope it's a easier pregnancy this time around.
